Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah
Have you always yearned to fulfill this experience? If so, this is your chance!
Classes will consist of the following:
- Rabbi Miriam Hamrell will introduce you to the Shabbat morning prayers and help you uncover their deeper meanings. The Rabbi will work individually with each student on his/her drash.
- Master teacher Rena Jaffe will teach you to read Hebrew, to learn the Shabbat service prayers, sing Torah trope and chant from the Torah. Rena will practice with you on the parts of the service you will lead.
The class will culminate with a festive Bat/Bar Mitzvah Community Ceremony and Luncheon. The members of the class will meet to determine the meeting schedule.
