About the event
Every Shabbat we sing Le Dor VaDor, ‘from generation to generation’.
We celebrate creation, we celebrate becoming free.
This Shabbat we add one more celebration- surviving the attempt to annihilate us as a people by the evil Haman, in Ancient Persia, and thanks to the ingenuity and courage of the Jewish queen, Esther.
Purim is about the celebration of survival and continuity. Come join us for a day in festive costume, in a celebratory meal, and for the recitation of the Megillah that tells
this epic story!
Here's how it works: each guest is asked to bring a dish of their choosing (pick one from the drop down menu) to share with the group. It can be a main dish, appetizer, dessert, or beverage.
