The installation of a Rabbi in the community is a precious and holy benchmark.

To mark this celebratory moment as our texts teach us, was done by giving half a shekel to the community in Biblical times. It was a way for everyone to recognize the centrality and the need for a rich Jewish communal life by supporting the Rabbi, a tradition that has carried on through the generations as part of our legacy…

We invite you to be a link in that chain and gift a communal building block, in this formidable moment of installing our new Rabbi. Please give what you can from your heart.

All donations in honor of Rabbi Michal will be greatly appreciated.

Bursting with pride for Rabbi Michal Morris Kamil who is being installed as the Rabbi and spiritual leader of Ahavat Torah!  She was outstanding as a student, passionate in her beliefs, eloquent in her expression, and deeply immersed in study of Torah and contemporary text as well.
